Dynamic Sealing Technologies has been awarded the contract to supply custom 3-passage high pressure rotary union assemblies for use in a large offshore hose reel design.  The hose reel is used to store hydraulic hoses that supply power to the sub sea production system, which are used on sub sea well heads.  The DSTI rotary unions are used to transfer water based hydraulic fluids at pressures up to 15,000 psi.  During testing, the rotary union was successfully tested to 22,000 psi. DSTI has designed a number of custom rotary unions for offshore and sub sea applications.
